Stonebridge Technical Services division of Stonebridge Technical Enterprises, Ltd. (STS) received an order from a Mid-Michigan Manufacturer to upgrade the control systems on (2) automatic cranes that are used to support internal processing in the facility. “STS replaced and upgraded the PLCs. crane drives, feedback devices, communications, and safety equipment. We provided new panels with State-of-the-Art componentry. Our customer is back in production with the new controls and very pleased with the results. We are hopeful that this experience will open another niche market for STS doing control system upgrades on many types of existing equipment,” says David K. Hense, P.E., President of STE.
